A FARMHOUSE, A MOSAIC OF TERROIRS
"Man sometimes believes that he was created to dominate, to lead. He's mistaken: he's only part of the whole. His function is not to exploit, but to supervise, to be a steward. Man has neither power nor privilege, only responsibility.

VIGNERON
Laurent de Besombes Singla
To live and see wine born on the land of one's ancestors gives a very special resonance to the notion of a family estate. Many see it as a battle between Man and Nature, but on the contrary, it's a genuine encounter, and it's this encounter that we invite you to discover in our wines...
Secrets of the Vineyard Revealed
Organic farming
The estate has been certified organic since 2006.
Soleil du Roussillon
The vines are deeply rooted in their terroir under the bright Roussillon sunshine.
Gross land
A total of 50 hectares follow the natural physiognomy of the site.
Grapes that love the sun
Faithful to the grape varieties that love the Roussillon sun, he creates authentic, fine, elegant wines, imbued with the earth that bore them.
Depending on the cuvée, the reds are made from Grenache noir, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Syrah, the whites from Macabeu, Grenache blanc, Grenache gris, Muscat d'Alexandrie and Muscat petit grains.
Agriculture that respects the land
As soon as he took over the family business, Laurent de Besombes isolated the best tenements, 50 hectares in all, and named them Domaine Singla.
He replaced weedkillers, chemical fertilizers and other synthetic products with natural materials such as horsetail, comfrey, lime, sulfur, nettle, fennel... he brought the soil back to life, working to the rhythm of the seasons.
Since then, in the wasteland, hedgerows and surrounding garrigue, the ecosystem has regained its rights.
The estate has been certified organic since 2006.
